Heath Church -- Heath Church is an American singer-songwriter from Kansas City, Mo. who primarily plays indie-folk music. His style is inspired by artists such as Elliott Smith, John Prine, Rivers Cuomo and The Smiths. Featuring melodies that are often melancholy, yet catchy, many of his songs include intimate vocals, poetic lyrics and warm acoustic guitar tracks. Church will perform at Wanderoo Lodge & Gravel Bar in Eureka Springs at 7 p.m. Dec. 14.

Bob Zany -- Three-time American Comedy Award nominee Bob Zany returns to The Grove in Lowell at 7 p.m. Dec. 13 and 6 & 8:30 p.m. Dec. 14 for a stand-up comedy show. The comedian is old school meets new school with a back-to-school chaser and a "naturally funny guy," the L.A. Times notes, "at a time when stand-up is cluttered with people who aren't."
