Led by Apple Seeds Teaching Farm staff, educators were trained Wednesday to lead Growing My Plate, a garden-based cooking program that teaches young students nutrition and culinary skills within the context of a garden.
Training included how to teach students to cook in a group setting and how to engage students in the garden, along with best practices.
