Haas Hall Academy's Fayetteville campus is one of the top 10 public high schools in the nation, according to the latest ranking by U.S. News & World Report.
The school, which routinely achieves the publication's top rank in the state, placed seventh nationally in the ranking released today, up from 50th last year. Haas Hall's Bentonville campus was named second best in the state and 81st nationally.

Each of the state's top six public high schools are charter schools, according to rankings. Haas Hall's two campuses are followed by LISA Academy North High School in Sherwood at No. 3, eSTEM High School in Little Rock at No. 4, Arkansas Arts Academy in Rogers at No. 5 and Maumelle Charter High School at No. 6.
Bentonville High School was the leading non-charter high school, coming in at seventh in the state.
Nine Arkansas high schools placed in the top 1,000 nationally; only three did so last year.
