FAYETTEVILLE -- A former school administrator facing felony sexual assault charges was booked into the Washington County Detention Center on Wednesday, this time in connection with misdemeanor harassment.
The latest charge facing Mark Oesterle stems from an investigation by police and the city prosecutor's office. Oesterle, 46, was booked into the jail at 5:17 p.m. Wednesday and released 30 minutes later on a $535 bond, according to the jail's website.
Details of the case weren't available Thursday.
Oesterle was the Fayetteville School District's director of secondary education until last month, when he was charged in Washington County Circuit Court with three felony counts of second-degree sexual assault dating to 2015. He resigned the same day the charges were announced.
The Springdale resident is accused of forcibly touching the breast of a female who was a minor in April 2015; touching the breast of a 14-year-old student at the school where he was employed in October 2015; and touching the breast of a 14-year-old student at the school where he was employed in August or September 2015.
At the time of the alleged incidents, Oesterle was employed by the Springdale School District -- first at Har-Ber High School, then at the Tyson School of Innovation.
