Tuesday's Results

Elkins 6, Greenland 1

Mason Chaddick and Will Trollinger combined on a four-hitter to lead the Elks past the Pirates.

Chaddick allowed a run on four hits over five innings to pick up the win. He struck out two and walked one. Trollinger added two hitless innings and struck out three.

Trey Vance went 3-for-4 with two doubles and drove in a run to pace Elkins' 12-hit attack. Chase Smith Camren Dunn and Trevor Shoemate added two hits each. Shoemate also drove in two runs, and Smith scored twice.

Greenwood 3-7, Beebe 2-0

Landry Jurecka and Cade Lynch combined on a one-hitter to help the Bulldogs sweep a doubleheader from the Badgers.

Jurecka allowed a hit in five scoreless innings of work. He struck out five and walked one. Lynch tossed two hitless innings and struck out one.

Matthew Munday went 2-for-3 with two doubles and three RBIs, while Chance Eoff added two hits, two RBIs and two runs scored for Greenwood.

Munday's RBI-single in the bottom of the ninth lifted the Bulldogs to the 3-2 win and give them the sweep. Preston Jurecka also went 3-for-4 to Greenwood.

Peyton Holt pitched three scoreless innings of relief to pick up the win. He allowed only one hit, struck out six and walked one.

The Siloam Springs baseball team dropped to 8-14 overall and 5-5 in 5A-West Conference play this past Tuesday after being swept at Little Rock Christian.

The Warriors (16-4, 8-2), who are in first place in the league, won Game 1 by a 4-1 score before finishing off the sweep in Game 2 with an 11-1 win in five innings.

With the losses, Siloam Springs dropped to sixth in the conference standings behind Little Rock Christian, Greenbrier (7-3), Vilonia (7-3), Russellville (7-3) and Greenwood (6-4).

Little Rock Christian 4-11, Siloam Springs 1-1

Little Rock Christian (16-4, 8-2) moved into sole possession of first place in the 5A-West with a sweep of Siloam Springs.

The Warriors snapped a 1-1 tie with a run in the bottom of the fifth inning of Game 1 to take the lead for good, and John White pitched a complete game for Little Rock Christian, allowing only three hits.

Siloam Springs scored its only run in the top of the second inning when Taylor Pool hit a solo home run, his second of the season.

Landon Ellis pitched a complete game for Siloam Springs, allowing seven hits and three earned runs in six innings of work with three walks and two strikeouts.

The Warriors scored five runs in the bottom of the first inning to take a commanding lead in Game 2.

Jackson Woodard limited the Panthers to just one hit in Game 2 with six strikeouts.

Shiloh Christian 12, Berryville 0

Sean Rhodes tossed a one-hitter and struck out eight to lead the Saints to the win.

Marcus Brown went 2-for-2, drove in two runs and scored three times for Shiloh Christian. Drew Dudley and Caleb Anderson added two hits each. Dudley drove in two runs and scored once.

Providence Academy 4, Huntsville 1

C.J. Freeman scattered seven hits over 6.2 innings to help Providence Academy earn the win.

Freeman allowed a run, struck out two and did not walk a batter. He left after allowing a two-out double in the seventh. Koby Keen walked a batter but then struck out the next man to close out the win.

Keen also went 2-for-3 with a double, drove in a run and scored one. Kolton Reynolds had two hits -- a double and a triple -- for Huntsville.

Cabot 3, Fort Smith Southside 2 (8 innings)

The Panthers pushed across a run in the top of the eighth inning to earn the 6A-Central Conference win.

Colton McBride went 2-for-4, while Matthew Schilling and Lucas Wood drove in runs for Southside. Braden Partin started on the mound for the Mavericks allowing two runs (none earned) on six hits over 5 2/3 innings of work.

Booneville 15, Paris 2

Cam Brasher and Ethan Dobbs each had two hits and drove in four runs apiece as Booneville pounded Paris in a 3A-4 Conference game.

Booneville erupted for seven runs in the first inning, then added seven more in the third. Gabe Fennell had three hits while Michael Hesson had two hits and drove in two runs.

Atkins 6, Lamar 2

Ben Jackson and Parker Ward combined for a three-hitter with seven strikeouts as Atkins earned a 3A-4 Conference victory over Lamar.

Ike Pelts had two hits and drove in a run for Lamar, which scored its runs in the third inning. Nick Ferguson had two hits and drove in three runs for the Red Devils.

Wednesday's Results

Paris 11, Two Rivers 0

Jadyn Hart went 3-for-3 with two triples and a home run and drove in five runs to lead the Lady Eagles to the win.

Lexy Lee and Olivia Henderson added two hits each for Paris. Sydney Ward drove in two runs and also picked up the win in the circle. She pitched a three-inning perfect game and struck out all nine hitters she faced.

Tuesday's Results

Fort Smith Northside 6-4, Little Rock Central 2-6

Shanoe Teague's two-run triple capped a five-run fifth as Northside defeated Central in the first game of a 6A-Central Conference doubleheader.

The Lady Bears trailed 1-0 before tying the game when Danessa Teague's sacrifice bunt drove in Hannah Entrekin, who finished the game with three hits. Aleigha Harrison broke the tie with an RBI groundout, and M Worden drove in a run with a single before Shanoe Teague belted her triple.

In the second game, Central scored three times in the fifth to break a 3-3 tie then held off Northside to earn the split.

Danessa Teague and Jenna Wilson each had three hits and both players drove in a run for the Lady Bears, while Close Ray had two hits.

Cabot 8, Fort Smith Southside 4

Grace Neal and Jaden Potter each hit a home run as Cabot earned a 6A-Central win at home against Southside.

Neal hit a three-run, inside-the-park home run in the first inning, while Potter hit hers to cap a five-run fifth as the Lady Panthers snapped a 3-3 tie. Neal had two hits and drove in four runs, while Potter had two hits and three RBIs.

Meliah Hunter's two-run home run in the top of the fifth helped Southside force a 3-3 tie.

Berryville 13, Blue Eye, Mo. 6

Lora Grace Hill had three hits, including a pair of doubles, and drove in four runs to lead Berryville to a nonconference win.

Kate Powell added three hits and drove in a run, while three other players added two hits apiece for the Lady Bobcats (12-9), who took the lead for good in the fifth inning when Hayley Rivett's bases-loaded walk snapped a 5-5 tie.

Elkins 18-16, Greenland 5-0

Cailey Reed and Sophia Hollingworth had three hits apiece as Elkins banged out 17 hits in the first game of a 3A-1 West Conference doubleheader at Greenland.

Lakyn Ritchie drove in three runs while Hollingsworth, Ashley Brink and Lyndsey Dugan each had two RBIs for Elkins (12-3), which built an early 10-0 lead.

Reed then threw a three-inning perfect game and struck out six as Elkins completed the doubleheader sweep. Brink had three hits and drove in four runs for the Elks, while Reed had three hits and drove in two runs and Brooklyn Haney had two hits, including a home run, and had three RBIs.

Paris 7-3, Booneville 0-0

Sydney Ward and Jadyn Hart each threw a no-hitter as Paris swept a 3A-4 Conference doubleheader from Booneville.

Ward pitched the first game and had 13 strikeouts and three walks in an 81-pitch outing. Olivia Henderson and Chloe Robinson each drove in two runs to provide the Lady Eagles' offense as they scored in each of the first four innings.

Hart then pitched the second no-hitter and helped her cause with two hits and an RBI.

Hart struck out 11 and walked just one batter in a 66-pitch outing. She drove in the only run she needed in the first with a single after Lexy Lee walked and went to second on a passed ball.

Carli Haller also had two hits for Paris (17-5).

Charleston 6, Mansfield 2

Sidney Tate had three hits and drove in the go-ahead run to help Charleston take a 3A-1 West Conference win over Mansfield.

Stormy French had two hits and drove in a run, while Rylee Ross had two hits for the Lady Tigers (13-4), who broke a 2-2 tie in the third inning when Tate's double drove in Sierra Montgomery.

Ross allowed just three hits and struck out five to pick up the win.

Waldron 12, Cedarville 1

Rhegan Sanford and Jayden Manning drove in two runs apiece as Waldron earned a 3A-1 West Conference win at home.

Waldron jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first, then erupted for six runs in the second. Sanford and Molly Richmond each had two hits for the Lady Bulldogs (12-7), while Ashton Young held Cedarville to two hits and struck out four over five innings.

Siloam Springs 14-16, Little Rock Christian 4-3

The Siloam Springs softball team picked up its first wins of the season on Tuesday with a 5A-West Conference sweep at Little Rock Christian.

The Lady Panthers (2-15, 2-8) scored nine runs in the first inning on their way to a 14-4 victory in Game 1.

The Lady Panthers drew 14 walks and had only five base hits in the run-rule victory in Game 1.

Sydney Smith had two of the Lady Panthers' hits, including a double, to go with an RBI. Hilarie Buffington also had a hit and an RBI. Katie Mesko and Maggie Torres also had hits.

Faith Howie scored three runs for the Lady Panthers, while Kyiah Marsh, Ericka Galloway and Buffington each scored two runs.

Jessie Robinson picked up the win in the circle with a complete game and six strikeouts. She allowed four hits, four runs to go with three walks.

The Lady Panthers plated four runs in the top of the first inning in Game 2. Siloam Springs scored seven runs in the top of the third and five in the fourth go to up 16-2. The Lady Warriors (0-14, 0-10) scored one run in the bottom of the fifth to set the final score.

Siloam Springs was more offensive in Game 2 with 14 base hits.

Micah Curry went 4 for 4, including a double, with two RBIs and two runs scored.

Smith had three hits, including a home run, two RBIs and three runs scored.

Buffington had two hits and scored two runs, while Aislyn Burchette had two hits and scored a run.

Maggie Torres and Faith Howie each had one hit, one run scored and two RBIs, while Ericka Galloway scored three runs and had a hit and an RBI.

The Lady Panthers drew 16 walks in Game 2.

Robinson pitched another complete game for the victory and did not walk or hit a batter. She gave up three runs with three strikeouts.

Boys

Rogers 2, Fayetteville 1

Esteban Chavez had a goal and an assist to help the Mounties earn the win.

Nelson Rivas scored Rogers' other goal and Francisco Jimenez notched the assist for Rogers (9-4-2, 6-3 6A-West). The Mounties have now won four in a row, after losing three straight matches.

Berryville 8, Huntsville 0

Manny Tellez recorded a hat trick in the first half to lead Berryville to a 4A-West Conference win over Huntsville.

Nathan Engel, Carlos Garduno, Brian Tovar and Junior Perez each had a goal to help Berryville enjoy a 7-0 halftime cushion. Robert Quiquivix had the Bobcats' lone goal in the second half.

Harrison 5, Gentry 0

Max Payne had two goals as Harrison defeated Gentry in 4A-West Conference action Tuesday.

Payne scored with 30 minutes left in the first half and again with 35 minutes remaining. Kaden Jones and Hunter Holtby each had a goal to give the Goblins (11-4-1, 4-1) a 3-0 halftime cushion, while Hunter Thompson closed out the scoring.

Siloam Springs 6, Alma 0

The Panthers (11-4, 7-2 5A-West) scored all six goals in the first half on their way to a mercy rule win at Airedale Stadium.

Six different Panthers -- Eli Jackson, Christian Flores, Jose Posada, Hugo Hernandez, Gerson Matias and Franklin Cortez -- all scored goals.

Chrisitan Marroquin had two assists, while Eleazar Palacios and Matias also had assists.

Girls

Harrison 7, Gentry 0

Kenzie Parker and Olivia Pall recorded a hat trick apiece in the first half as Harrison rolled past Gentry and remained unbeaten in 4A-West Conference play.

Parker scored all three of her goals in an 8-minute span and gave the Lady Goblins (15-3-1, 5-0) a 3-0 lead. Pall then scored two of hers in the 27- and 21-minute mark, respectively, then scored her third after Rylee Richardson scored.

Harrison's defense did not allow Gentry to have a shot on goal.

Siloam Springs 9, Alma 0

The Lady Panthers (10-5, 8-1 5A-West) scored seven of their goals in the second half to complete the mercy rule victory over the Airedales last Tuesday at Airedale Stadium.

Hadley Crenshaw scored her first career hat trick with three goals, while Maci Herrell scored two goals, and Shelby Johnson, Laura Morales, Maddie Vaughan and Sachi Lor each added single goals.
