No-bake desserts every bunny will love

The kids can help make these cute and easy treats

Bird's Nests

Ingredients

• 4 cups chow mein noodles

• 3 cups miniature marshmallows

• 3 tablespoons butter

• 30 small jellybeans

Directions

1. Line a cookie sheet with foil and grease with spray-on cooking oil.

2. Pour noodles into a large bowl. Melt the butter and marshmallows over medium heat, stirring until smooth. Pour marshmallow mixture over noodles, stirring until well coated.

3. Rub some butter on hands and form noodle mixture into six round balls. Place balls on prepared cookie sheet. With the back of a teaspoon, press the center of each ball to make a hollow indentation.

4. Let nests set until they are firm. Fill each with small jelly beans. (Other small candies of your choice may be substituted, such as M & M's, small gumdrops, chocolate covered raisins, chocolate covered peanuts, etc.)

Jellybean Bark

Ingredients

• 1 pound white confectioners' coating

• 1 pound jellybeans

Directions

1. Line a jelly roll pan with waxed paper and set aside.

2. Melt the white confectioners' coating in the top of a double boiler over just-barely simmering water, stirring frequently and scraping down the sides with a rubber spatula to avoid scorching. Spread the melted white confectioners' coating onto the prepared pan. Sprinkle the jellybeans over the top.

3. Refrigerate at least 1 hour or until firm. Break into pieces to serve.

Instant Chocolate Covered Bunnies (On a Stick)

Ingredients

• 10 wooden pop sticks

• 10 marshmallow Easter bunnies (such as Just Born(R) Peeps(R))

• 1/2 cup chocolate chips

• 1 teaspoon multicolored candy sprinkles

Directions

1. Insert a wooden stick into the bottom of each bunny. Line a baking sheet with waxed paper. Place the chocolate chips into a glass bowl, and cook in the microwave until just melted, about 30 seconds. Stir the chocolate until smooth.

2. Dip each bunny into the melted chocolate until coated on all sides, and place onto the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle with candy sprinkles to decorate. Place into the freezer until the chocolate has set, about 5 minutes.
