Andy's opens second Rogers site
Andy's Frozen Custard held a grand opening celebration Friday at 4200 S. J.B. Hunt Drive in Rogers. This is the second Rogers location and the 63rd in the country.
Andy's menu ranges from a triple chocolate concrete and the original straw-ana made with strawberries and bananas to the James Brownie Funky Jackhammer -- custard blended with peanut butter and brownies and filled with hot fudge.
Andy's Frozen Custard is open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Farmer's Co-op in Springdale re-opening
Farmer's Cooperative at 410 E. Huntsville Ave. in Springdale reopens Friday. The store will have music from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. and free lunch from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday.
The Co-op is a Purina-certified expert dealer. Purina Animal Nutrition is a national organization serving producers, animal owners and their families through more than 4,700 local cooperatives, independent dealers and other large retailers throughout the United States.
The store sold feed and pet food and now offers general hardware, plumbing and electrical supplies.
The Feed and More Building has undergone remodeling and expansion over the past year.
Marco's opens in Rogers
Marco's Pizza, known for its fresh ingredients, secret sauce recipe and dough made in-store daily, recently opened at 1902 S. Eighth St., Suite 5, in Rogers. The new store hired 25 people.
The restaurant is owned and operated by local entrepreneur Martin Puls, who has 25 years experience at Walmart and Sam's Club.
The menu at Marco's features a mix of classic artisan pizzas and specialty pizzas and a variety of salads with croutons made daily. Customers can also choose from subs on wheat or Italian white bread, and creations such as Meatball Bake, Chicken Dippers and CheezyBread. The store offers carryout, delivery, dine-in and online ordering services,
Marco's Pizza has more than 900 restaurants nationwide.
