SPRINGDALE -- The School District's three high-school level schools have principals again.

Paul Griep will lead Har-Ber High School after four years as principal at Central Junior High School, according to a news release from the district. The district earlier this week also announced new principals for the Don Tyson School of Innovation and Springdale High School.

Har-Ber, the School of Innovation and Springdale High's principals had all accepted new jobs in district administration either within Springdale or at Prairie Grove.

Griep in a written statement said he's committed to all students' success.

"It is the opportunity of a lifetime to be the principal of Har-Ber High School, one of the finest schools in the nation," he said. "It will be our priority to personalize education for all students and help each individual to reach his or her full potential."

The move takes Griep from a school of around 900 students this school year to almost 2,300 enrolled at Har-Ber, according to the Arkansas Department of Education. He replaces Danny Brackett, who was principal for the school's first 13 years and is becoming student services coordinator for the district.

Superintendent Jim Rollins noted Center Junior High students move on to Har-Ber, which means Griep will be able to help students and families who already know him adjust to high school. In a written statement, Rollins called Griep "one the most respected, admired and proven members of the Springdale education team."

Griep was previously principal at Archer Learning Center and assistant principal at Southwest Junior High School and has been with the district since 2005, according to the release.

Springdale administrators Anne Martfeld and Shannon Tisher will lead the School of Innovation after principal Joe Rollins, the superintendent's son, recently accepted the district's director of support services. The district is also bringing on Siloam Springs High School principal Jason Jones to helm Springdale High School after Pete Joenks took an assistant superintendent position at Prairie Grove.
