The Travel Channel's "Man vs. Food" stopped by Rogers to spotlight the Goliath Challenge at Kirby's Kupcakes in December. To celebrate the attention, Kirby's Kupcakes is hosting a watch party Monday night, according to a press release.

The Goliath made "Man vs. Food" because it's equivalent to 22 of Kirby's regular cupcakes. Challengers have 30 minutes to finish the cupcake and a 5 minute wait period to "make sure it stays down."

Travel Channel producers reached out to Lisa Hastings, bakery owner, last summer about featuring the business on the premier episode, shot in the Ozark Mountains. Hastings and her mom, Kirby Hamby, brought friends and family in for the taping, according to the press release.

"We were interested because we wanted to showcase our little shop to as many people as possible, and also share our part of the world with the rest of the world," Hastings said. "Downtown Rogers and Northwest Arkansas are full of unique and interesting destinations, locally-owned restaurants and shops and memory-making experiences. I wanted to help share all we have to offer."

The watch party will be at Hapa's Hawaiian Bar and Grill at 105 Third St. in Rogers at 7 p.m.
