FAYETTEVILLE 70, ROGERS 48 Fayetteville opened the second half with 13 consecutive points and outscored Rogers 24-7 in the third quarter to break open a close game. Collin Cooper scored 25 points and Jon Conley 17 to lead Fayetteville (9-6, 2-1 7A-West). Garrett Dake scored 13 and Elliott Paschal 11 for Rogers (7-9, 0-3).
NORTH LITTLE ROCK 71, FORT SMITH SOUTHSIDE 44 North Little Rock junior Collin Moore finished with a game-high 24 points in his team's 7A-Central victory against Fort Smith Southside. Moore finished with five total three-pointers. The Charging Wildcats (13-4, 2-1) jumped out to a 21-4 advantage in the first quarter. Southside (8-9, 0-3) cut it to 25-15 but never seriously threatened North Little Rock. Ike Moore scored a team-high 18 points to lead the way for Southside. Dillon Hamilton added. North Little Rock got 13 points from Spencer Simes and 10 points from Moses Moody.
BEEBE 65, RUSSELLVILLE 53 Visiting Beebe outscored Russellville 23-7 in the fourth quarter to turn a four-point deficit at the end of the third quarter into a nonconference victory. D'Andre Butler led Beebe with 25 points and Steele Harris added 18.
CHARLESTON 58, PARIS 42 Braden Ross scored 20 points to lead visiting Charleston to a 4A/3A-5 victory over Paris. Jacob Green had 17 points and Chase Ewing added 11 for Charleston, which led 27-19 at halftime. Kris Graham scored a game-high 22 points in the loss for Paris.
IZARD COUNTY 64, COTTER 47 Caleb Faulkner scored 26 points as Izard County (22-2, 11-0) remained undefeated in 2A/1A-3 play with a victory at Cotter (16-9, 7-3). Justus Cooper added 23 points and 16 rebounds for Izard County, which led 14-9 after one quarter, 36-21 at halftime and 52-35 entering the fourth quarter.
VAN BUREN 42, ROGERS HERITAGE 41
K.J. Stewart’s putback at the buzzer snapped Rogers Heritage’s 12-game winning streak in War Eagle Arena. Heritage (13-3, 2-1 7A-West) led most of the fourth quarter and took a 41-40 lead when Seth Stanley hit one of two free throws with 19.9 seconds left in the fourth quarter. Van Buren moved to 10-6, 1-2 in league play.
BATESVILLE 44, VILONIA 41 Batesville trailed host Vilonia 29-19 at halftime, but outscored the Eagles 25-12 in the second half to remain undefeated in 6A/5A-2 play. Izzy Higginbottom led Batesville (13-4, 4-0) with 12 points. Lauren Patterson led Vilonia (14-3, 5-1) with 11 points and Paige Kelley added 10.
CARLISLE 58, ABUNDANT LIFE 10 Host Carlisle jumped out to an 18-5 lead after the first quarter and held Abundant Life scoreless in the second quarter of a 2A/1A-13 game. Kylie Warren led Carlisle (6-14) with 17 points and Blakely Ellis added 13.
ENGLAND 61, HAZEN 18 Baylee Coleman scored a team-high 15 points as the Lady Lions (14-6) earned victories on consecutive nights in dominant fashion over visiting Hazen. Tatayana Penister had 12 points, while Tybriana Durham and Paige Ikner added 10 each for England, which led 29-6 after the first quarter, 44-9 at halftime and 52-16 after three quarters.
LITTLE ROCK CENTRAL 60, BRYANT 37 Lauren Pendleton scored 19 and Erynn Barnham 14 to lead the Lady Tigers (10-5, 1-2) to their first conference victory. Kaila Williams led Bryant (5-9, 1-2) with 11 points and Ivory Russ scored nine. Little Rock Central put the game away with a 38-15 scoring advantage in the second and third quarters.
LITTLE ROCK CHRISTIAN 53, LITTLE ROCK HALL 44 Junior guard Reagan Bradley scored 19 of her game-high 31 points in the second half to push Little Rock Christian past Little Rock Hall. Freshman forward Wynter Rogers added 16 points and 15 rebounds for the Lady Warriors (16-1, 4-0 6A/5A-4), who trailed 32-30 midway through the third quarter before using a 13-3 run to regain control. Sophomore forward Kendra Pride had 12 points and 9 rebounds, while senior forward Alaysia Kelly finished with 9 points and 11 rebounds for Hall (7-8, 1-3), which went 15 of 40 from the field. They also turned the ball over 20 times, including five in a decisive third-quarter stretch. Hall trailed 47-38 with 5:35 left in the game but climbed within 47-44 at the 4:31 mark, then didn’t score for the remainder of the game. Little Rock Christian ended the game 19-of-44 shooting nd outrebounded Hall 29-28.
LITTLE ROCK McCLELLAN 57, MILLS 54 Sophomore Brittney Patterson scored 15 points and grabbed 20 rebounds as the Lady Lions (4-10) outlasted the visiting Lady Comets (3-12) in a 6A/5A-4 Conference game. Freshman Takyra Miles led McClellan with 20 points and sophomore Dasha Brown put in 17 points and made five steals for McClellan, which led 44-31 entering the final quarter. Senior Cetra Dale led Mills with 21 points and 18 rebounds. Daneshelle Barton added 15 points and Lavoya Lewis scored 10 points and collected 10 rebounds.
LITTLE ROCK PARKVIEW 70, JACKSONVILLE 60 The Lady Patriots (9-5, 3-1 6A/5A-4) pulled away in the second half after leading 28-27 at halftime to defeat the Lady Titans (8-10, 2-2). Mikayla Alexander paced four Parkview players in double figures with 16 points. Kania Lasker scored 14 points, Jaida Bangura had 12 and Kaylan Larry added 11. Shymaryia Christopher scored a game-high 25 points to lead Jacksonville.
MALVERN 57, MAYFLOWER 47 Amarria Harper's game-high 16 points led host Malvern to a nonconference victory over Mayflower. Kym Summerville added 14 points for Malvern, which trailed 31-29 at halftime. Alexis Letson led Mayflower with 12 points and AngelGrace Duncan chipped in with 11.
MOUNTAIN VIEW 53, ROSE BUD 49 Kaley Shipman led the Lady Yellowjackets (14-2) with 20 points and 10 rebounds in a victory over the Lady Ramblers (11-8). Aubrey Isbell added 13 points for Mountain View.
NORTH LITTLE ROCK 74, FORT SMITH SOUTHSIDE 36 North Little Rock led from start to finish at Southside Gym to bounce back from a home loss earlier this week. The Lady Charging Wildcats jumped out to a 15-3 lead after the first quarter when they made 6 of 17 shots from the floor. North Little Rock (13-3, 2-1 7A-Central) found high-percentage shots in the second quarter, making 8 of 10 from the floor. That pushed the lead to 35-8 at halftime. Fort Smith Southside (1-12, 0-3) was held to 2-of-22 shooting while committing 13 turnovers in the first half. Demyla Brown led North Little Rock with 15 points, Yo'Myris Morris added 12 and Yasmin Ott finished with 11. Southside was led by Kelly Carson's game-high 16 points.
PULASKI ACADEMY 61, LR FAIR 24
Pulaski Academy led 15-7 after the first quarter, then outscored host LR Fair 16-6 in the second quarter to take control of the 6A/5A-4 game. Mattie Hatcher led Pulaski Academy (12-4, 3-1) with 27 points and Katie Hindmon added 10.
SYLVAN HILLS 51, MAUMELLE 35 Already leading 14-7 after the first quarter, Sylvan Hills outscored host Maumelle 19-9 in the second quarter to take control of a 6A/5A-4 game. Jayla Bell scored 13 points to lead the Lady Bears, while Jayla King's 11 points led the Lady Hornets.
ENGLAND 61, JUNCTION CITY 28 Tatayana Penister led the way with 30 points as the Lady Lions (13-6) won on the road to defeat the Lady Dragons (5-8). Baylee Coleman added 12 and Tybriana Durham 11 for England, which led 35-15 at the half and 54-25 after three quarters.
