Bobo's Ribbon Ice is relocating, renovating and revamping its menu in time for its grand opening Jan. 12.
The bubble tea, ribbon ice shop is now at 4155 N Steele Blvd in Fayetteville, just a 15 minute drive from's its previous Wedington Drive location. This move will hopefully drive more traffic, Annie Tran, manager, said.
The new location gave way for a renovation. Much of the decor is a direct reflection of some of the products Bobo's sells, Tran said. For example, the ceiling is curled, like ribbon ice.
"It will help our customers understand what our products are."
In addition to ribbon ice, Bobo's will be adding Taiwanese-inspired street snacks, hot drinks, and soft-serve ice cream in seasonal flavors.
Once Bobo's opens, it will be open on Mondays to Thursdays from 12:30 to 8:30 p.m.; on Fridays from 12:30 to 9 p.m.; on Saturdays from noon to 9 p.m.; and on Sundays from noon to 8:30 p.m.
Tran said they will offer extended hours during the summer.
