The Springdale airport is now serving lunch, dinner and espresso thanks to Fricksters Steakhouse and Lori's Mocha Madness.

Fricksters is in its soft opening stages and will have its grand opening some time within the next few weeks, co-owner Doyle Frick said.

The opportunity came to Frick, a Huntsville native, when a hangar owner at the airport tipped him off to the vacancy. Fricksters, a nickname for Frick, serves American cafe-style foods, serving burgers, steaks and specials every day.

Lori's Mocha Madness, named for co-owner and Huntsville native Lori Reynolds, operates a full espresso bar.

"Starbuck's doesn't have anything on us," Frick said.

Fricksters is open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights. Fricksters is located at 802 Airport Ave. in Springdale.
