FAYETTEVILLE -- Tree work will cause a lane of North Garland Avenue between Melmar Drive and North Street to close for 10 days.

Transportation crews will remove and replace several median street trees along the stretch. Work will require closing an interior lane closest to the median. One lane in a single direction will be closed at a time, according to a city news release.

Work hours will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays starting today and lasting until Feb. 23.
