Siloam Springs police investigating armed robbery

SILOAM SPRINGS -- Police are are asking the public for help in solving an armed robbery over the weekend.

Police officers went at 6:08 p.m. Saturday to Hidalguense Productos at 816 E. Main St., according to a police department press release.

Store employees told officers a man wearing all black entered the store and fired one shot into the floor before demanding money, according to the press release.

The suspect is described as being 5-foot 6-inches tall with a slender build. He was wearing a black shirt, black Adidas pants, black mask and carrying a dark colored handgun, according to the press release. The suspect fled the scene in either a dark colored Honda Accord or Dodge Challenger, according to the press release.
