Welcome Health: Northwest Arkansas' Free Health Center lauded two longtime volunteers, Mary Alice Serafini and pediatrician Dr. David Jackson, at the organization's A Toast to Health on April 7 at the Arkansas Air and Military Museum in Fayetteville.
The clinic is staffed by volunteer physicians, nurse practitioners and nurses, and provides a wide range of services that include primary care, dental and dental hygiene clinics, prescription services, smoking cessation and diabetes education.

The Bost Chef and Winemaker Dinner April 12 at 21c Museum Hotel in Bentonville featured dishes from Chef Matt McClure, The Hive executive chef, and Chef Jeremiah Bacon, executive chef and partner of Indigo Road restaurants in Charleston, S.C., paired with wines from Gilbert Cellars.
Proceeds from the evening will help the nonprofit organization fulfill its mission: "To empower people with disabilities, and their families, to achieve greater independence by providing lifelong choices, support and learning opportunities."
