First ads for antiseptic

Founded in 1905 at New Orleans, Dr. Tichenor’s Antiseptic was first advertised in Little Rock newspapers in January 1906. The company placed display ads like these only for the first year. The product became so well known it was advertised as a line item by area retailers who carried it.
