One particular program that's been flying a bit under the radar is called SEEK -- and it's just for you young 'uns. The next SEEK event is on Thursday before, during and after that evening's performance of the WAC's upcoming Broadway show, "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time." The event celebrates some of the best things Fayetteville has to offer and is the perfect opportunity for college students and young professionals to learn more about the cool things happening at the WAC. Review: The Lumineers at the Walmart AMP

Subscriber onlySaturday night brought an exceedingly popular new band to a sold-out crowd at the Walmart Arkansas Music Pavilion in Rogers. I use the term "new" somewhat loosely -- The Lumineers actually have roots back to the early 2000s when Wesley Schultz (lead vocals, guitar) and Jeremiah Fraites (drums, percussion) started writing and performing songs together. Roots Festival Day 3

Day three of the Fayetteville Roots Festival began bright and early on Saturday, Aug. 26, when the festival plaza opened to the general public at 8 a.m. during the Farmers’ Market. This is the first year the plaza was open to non-ticket holders and allowed them access to the special Roots Bistro and merchandise tables.
