Residents Learn About Planned Development
When the decentralized systems fail, and people are wading in their own sewage,, it will be too late.
Someone needs to look at the real track record of these systems.. They are failing and nobody knows how to find the failures or fix them.. The county won't go near it since it is not their problem. They are not required to be inspected as they are installed. The installers very own paid engineer inspects them,, not an uninterested third party..
Really bad idea. Good for the developer, bad for the lake and the people.

Fire Marshal Arrested On Medication Suspicion
This is total nonsense. If anyone reading has allergies like I do, they would understand. I don't use them but I certainly could see why somebody would.
This will tarnish the reputation of this man and it's not right.
It shouldn't have happened and it shouldn't have been published.

Concealed-carry permits volume seen tailing off

A person does not need a conceal to carry permit to have a gun in the home, and use it accordingly..or carry a gun in the car, in plain sight.
The reasoning does not make sense.

City Council To Debate Building Foundations
Planning a foundation for a structure starts with an analysis of the soil. That is the first step in building any foundation. Without the soil type, load bearing capacity, etc. it is impossible to design a foundation for any structure.
Cookie cutter foundations won't work on hillsides, or any other place where there may be questionable soil bearing capacity or expansive soil.
