‘Village Atheists’ Attack Mayors
For an organization determined to be free from religion they sure go out of their way to surround themselves with it. I reminds me of the Marine Corps response to the ACLU when they saw a picture of Marines praying. You'll have to look it up due to the wording.
P.S. Who nominated these jokers to speak for us?

State police: trooper shoots, kills man during arrest
Phillip, look up sarcasm in the dictionary.
One thing is clear. We need better quality individuals to be police officers because everyone knows how to do their job better than they do.
Phillip, that is sarcastic by the way...

State police: trooper shoots, kills man during arrest
All cops are bad. They come from the general public. Therefore, all people in the general public are murderers. In this case there were two murderers and the cop won. Is that about right? Plus, I heard the suspect watched Walker Texas Ranger so the officer could not round house kick the guy. Any of you ever notice that you criticize the police for doing what you demand they do?

Two Stabbings Net Arrests
This is proof that police are just gun happy. Violent crimes and people committing violence has not increased one bit.

Detective To Return To Work
I actually agree with you. Sometimes the ones who support LE in times like these just want the facts before everyone fires up the torches and grabbs the pitchforks. I tend to think the media does not post the reports unless it sturrs up controversy. That attracts readers more than the truth and facts is not what the media is interested in.

Detective To Return To Work
Phillip, I think I understand your point. There is not enough information released to show the detective was criminal in his actions. Of course you can get a copy of the report by going down and requesting it. As far as Tasers, when deadly force is used you no longer have to go to a taser or tell someone to stop killing you before you defend your own life. I do see your point however (even though I consider myself a conservative) and it would be nice to have more details. Just remember it goes both ways. You are biased in you assessment that the cops killed the man without justification. Why not say you want evidence to prove the cop was not justified? Why don't cops get the same rights as others in regards to fairness and innocent until proven guilty?

Grand Jury Indicts 16
"Police stop drug ring", I wish police would do something about drugs! "Police make arrests after a two year investigation", I wish police would not ignore the problem. Do any of you even know what you want? What would satisfy you? If you have a gripe, have a solution. Don't gripe about what they did, suggest they do what they did, and then accuse them of doing nothing. Anti-police all the way baby!!!

Boy Suspended From School For Profanity
In the absence of facts, create your own! Does anyone know if this child's behavior is good or bad? Was he an otherwise angel who recently learned a bad word or is he a repeated discipline problem who was sent home for profanity? Could it be he was in trouble for something else and then directed profanity at an adult, in the presence of others? Of course none of these ideas makes any sense. The boy MUST have asked a teacher what a word meant and the school called out the National Guard. Someone mentioned over reacting? Read the above to learn what the definition is...

Police Investigate Break-Ins
Next week let's meet here again and blame the cops for focusing on break ins instead of DWI's!!! Then blame them for focusing too much on child sex abuse instead of grafitti. Then we can all call the cops to our house because a 4 year old bullied our 15 year old by calling them a dum dum. Sound good?

Three Girls Arrested In Burnbook10 Case
Yes, let's fill the jails with kids who have cell phones at school. Then, expel them from school. Then no one would ever be mean again, right? Blaming the school doesn't make much sense to me. Most of these types of "bullying" happens elsewhere. I can't believe society want to arrest kids for being mean. We yell at the kids to behave as we run someone off the freeway because they are only going 5 miles above the speed limit and then blame them when they imitate us. If we want the kids to "grow up"'then we should show them how first.
