Kevin Bennoch pours water and plankton samples Friday into a container held by Owl Creek School fifth-grader Emilye Pool, 10, collected from Lake Fayetteville. The students were on a field trip to the Lake Fayetteville Science Center during which they took a scavenger hunt hike and examined the plankton samples under a microscope.
