Sloane Roberts of Rison, Miss Arkansas 2012, center, poses Thursday for a photo with Sonora Middle School students at the school in east Springdale after speaking to the sixth- and seventh-grade girls. Roberts will retain the crown until the 2013 Miss Arkansas pageant in July. Roberts competed in the Miss America competion this weekend and received the Miss Congeniality award.
