Wade Canfield, left, and Tyer Cray, both Northeast Benton County firefighters, remove equipment Tuesday after putting out a house fire near Paul Pratt Road and Dennis Mitchell Road in Garfield. There were no injuries, said Jeff Henry, deputy chief. Henry said the occupants were outdoors and came inside to find their home full of smoke. The cause of the fire or the name of the homeowner is unknown, Henry said. Firefighters were on the scene quickly and did a good knockdown of the fire, Henry added.
