Kevin Chapell, left, and Michael Dean, Rogers Firefighters, bring a hose toward flames Tuesday during a training burn along Laurel Road in Rogers. Firefighters trained at the vacant house for several days before burning it Tuesday, said Capt. Dennis Thurmay with the Rogers Fire Department. The house was removed to make way for new offices at Fellowhip Bible Church. Firefighters were later called to a fire at 1922 S. 13th St. Tuesday. Traffic was snarled in the area of 13th and New Hope Road as a result.
