June Meunier of Fayetteville, right, a volunteer instructor, reaches Wednesday to help Nola Magee of Fayetteville learn to crochet during the first meeting of the Crochet Group at the Fayetteville Senior Activity and Wellness Center. The group, which meets on alternate Wednesdays in January, is aimed at making prayer shawls for people who frequent the center after a loss or when faced with medical difficulties.
