Jason Quail, center, with Take3.NWA shows Aailiya Gonzalez, 9, left, of Rogers, her brother Oscar, 5, and Jordan Grissom, 8, of Bentonville his “Useless Machine” on Saturday at his group’s exhibit during Geek The Library 2.0 at the Rogers Public Library. The event gave residents an opportunity to try new technology products and learn how to use new technologies they may have recently purchased or received. Take3.NWA is a collective of local hardware and electronics enthusiasts, commonly known as Makers, who share ideas and skill sets to create and build new, innovative technologies. Quail’s “Useless Machine” is a gadget that comically shuts itself off the moment you switch it on.
