Amelia Catanzaro (above) as Juliet, hands Fletcher Lyons, as Julius Caesar, a rose after his assassination during the Sonora Middle School gifted and talented students’ rehearsal of “Shakespeare What were you thinking?” on Tuesday as part of the annual Shakespeare Festival at the Springdale Performing Arts Center. Different gifted and talented programs from the School District performed short segments of Shakespeare plays, or the montage of famous quotes such as Sonora’s students. This was a part of a multiweek course learning about the playwright.
