Chris Ross, career ambassador from the University of Arkansas, top, serves Glenn Alford, left, and Mary Alford lunch Tuesday at the Fayetteville Senior Activity and Wellness Center during the sixth annual Senior Giving Tree event hosted by the city’s Fayetteville’s Community Services Division. The event was in celebration of local seniors featuring games and performances followed by lunch. Lunch was served by 40 volunteers from the city, University of Arkansas and community. “What better (example of) holiday spirit can you see than what’s going on around here?” said Yolanda Fields, community service division director.
