Hunter Rogers, right, with the Jones Center, loads bags Thursday filled with backpacks and school supplies from Gordan and Linda Slothower, president-elect of the Springdale Rotary Club at the center in Springdale. The Stothowers will deliver the bags to local schools. The center’s backpack program assembled more than 900 backpacks and supplies to give to elementary schools in Springdale. Each school will receive a number of backpacks to distribute as needed to their students.
