Volunteers from the Benonville School District write thank you notes Thursday, July 14, 2011, at Joplin North Middle School in Joplin, Mo., to people who have donated items or time to the tornado-striken disctrict. Teachers will be volunteering every Thursday in Joplin until school starts in August.
