Senior defender Wilmer Mendez is one of seven starters who will return for Springdale Har-Ber this season in boys soccer. The Wildcats, who finished 10-8-1 overall in 2010 and advanced to the state quarterfinals, are hopeful Mendez and other upperclassmen can help them reach even loftier goals in 2011.
