CROSS FOR ST. ANDREWS - Parishioners at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Rogers watch Cliff Gibson of Emerson Monument in Springdale guide a granite cross into place at a church garden on Thursday. The cross is part of a new columbarium at St. Andrew’s where ashes are interred. The cross was ordered from a manufacturer in Texas in December, said church member Bill Burk. Landscaping and flowers will be part of the columbarium on the north end of the church at Ninth and Oak streets in Rogers. “This is an exciting thing that’s been going on for a very long time,” said parishioner Sandee Ceballos. St. Andrew’s was established in Rogers during the 1950s, parishioners said.
