Donna Miles, manager of the Bella Vista Animal Shelter, worms two boxer-mix puppies Thursday that were left abandoned near the shelter. The puppies were taped in a cardboard box near a trash bin and managed to get free, but a kitten taped in another box died from suffocation before it was found.
