If you love your children, you'll find a way

Co-parenting is difficult

Subscriber onlyQ My ex-husband has another family, complete with a "wife" (unmarried) and child. He used to travel for business, so I was understanding when he told me he had to stay overnight out of town. This went on for three years! Our children are 4 and 5. His child with her is 2. After volunteering for many years, it is time to step away

DEAR CAROLYN: I have been involved in our high school parent club for eight years. Each year we put out notices that parents are needed to coordinate events for students. For the last several years, a few parents have volunteered to help with events, but no one wants to coordinate. Parents are willing to give money and donate food, but we need the manpower.
