Kim Renner, age 58, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, September 13, 2018 in Fayetteville. She was born September 1, 1960 in West Memphis, Arkansas, the daughter of Jim and Frances Gibson Ross. She was preceded in death by her father. Kim was a woman of faith who radiated joy and genuine kindness, which evidenced her relationship with Jesus Christ. Kim was married to her high school sweetheart for 37 years and was the proud mother of three children and a Lolly to two grandchildren. Though she excelled at many things, Kim's greatest strengths were listening and providing guidance, a gift she used in blessing countless students and families for over 30 years as an elementary school counselor for Fayetteville Public Schools. Kim was a source of constant joy with her infectious and life-giving smile. She had a genuine interest in every person she met and always looked for the best in others. A lifetime member of Central United Methodist Church, Kim was always looking for ways to serve those around her. She is survived by her husband, Kevin Renner; a daughter, Kaitlin Parker and her husband Brett of Little Rock; two sons, Bo Renner and his wife Ally of Fayetteville and Luke Renner of Fayetteville; a sister, Kelli James and her husband Tony of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two brothers, Gip Gibson and his wife Kelly of Tulsa and Greg Gibson and his wife Libby of Fayetteville; two grandchildren, Ryder Parker and Case Parker; many nieces and nephews; and numerous friends, all of whom she considered family. Funeral service will be 4 p.m., Monday, September 17, 2018 in the Activities Center at Central United Methodist Church, under the direction of Moore's Chapel. Burial will be private.
