Ralph Buck Harris

Ralph M. (Buck) Harris, 87, passed from this life on September 2, 2018 after a short illness with brain cancer. He was born in Rogers on January 3, 1931 to the late Leroy and Winnie L. (Nida) Harris. He served in the Arkansas National Guard for 11 years with one year being in Korea. He was a lifelong resident of Rogers and a member of Grace Baptist Church. Buck loved to work in his garden and then give all the produce away to neighbors and friends. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Willa Dew Kerr. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lilly Harris of Rogers; sons, Greg (Judy Harris of Harrison and Michael (Megan) Harris of Rogers; daughter, Regina Harris Cane of Rogers; 6 grandchildren, Courtney, Kelsey, Phillip, Joshua, Jacob and Colby; two great grandchildren; and 3 sisters, Sally (Bob) Fletcher of Dallas, Lynne Hopewell of Georgia and Betty Harris of Rogers. A memorial service will be held Friday, September 7, 2018 at 4 p.m. in Rollins Funeral Home Chapel, with military honors to follow.
