David Aaron McClellan

David Aaron McClellan, 59, of Fayetteville, Ark. died Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Mercy Hospital & Hospice Ft. Smith, Ark. Born August 17, 1959. He was the son of Earl D McClellan and Wilma (Willie) McGowan McClellan Coverston. After school in Decatur, Ark. and his service in the US Navy, David worked various jobs such as building retaining walls, cutting firewood, landscaping and mowing lawns, milking cows, and tending livestock. For many years David was employed by Talley Amusements, Texas where he ran ‘The Dark Ride'. David enjoyed the Kansas City Chiefs, the Razorbacks, attending Blues Festivals, fishing tinkering with cars, and spending time and joking around with friends. David was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Daniel J McClellan. David leaves behind his closest friends, Deidri (Speedy) A. Usesarrow, Fayetteville, Ark., Cara L. Hamilton, Elm Mott, Texas, and Loyd B Foults, Prairie Grove, Ark. He is survived by other friends and relatives. Loyd would like to give special thanks to the workers fo Sebastian County Retirement Center, Barling, Ark., Mercy Hospital & Hospice, Ft. Smith, Ark., and the VA Hospital, Fayetteville Ark. A memorial service will be held at 12 pm noon, Thursday, October 18, 2018 at the National Cemetery, Fayetteville, Ark.
