Rex G. McNabb, age 74, of Exeter, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at his home. He was born August 16, 1944 in Cassville, Missouri the son of John William and Billie Ivadine (Gregory) McNabb. On July 9, 1962 he was united in marriage to Ellen McGruder and to this union one daughter was born. Surviving are his daughter, Penny David and her husband Jeff of Rogers, Arkansas; a special lady, Cheryl Lee of Exeter, Missouri; brothers and sisters, Max McNabb of Exeter, Missouri, John McNabb of Wheaton, Missouri, Vicki Pride of Exeter, Missouri, Tom McNabb of Jenkins, Missouri, Phillis Younger of Exeter, Missouri and Nancy Hendrix of Washburn, Missouri; several nieces and nephews and his dog, Mr. Biggs. Preceding him in death were his parents and his wife. Rex grew up and received his education at Exeter, where he graduated from high school. For 10 years he drove a truck for Tom Inman Trucking Company and then drove for Wal-Mart for twenty years. In December, 1998 he retired from Wal-Mart. He attended First Baptist Church in Exeter. Rex enjoyed being with friends and helping people. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Jerry Yarnall will conduct the services. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Contributions may be made to Maplewood Cemetery or Concord Cemetery in memory of Rex.
