Our precious Sarah Jane Leininger, age 70, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 6, 2018, with her beloved husband, Randy and her sister, Cathy by her side. She was born June 22, 1948 in Bancroft, Iowa to Harold and Lois (Glawe) Boeckholt. She married the love of her life, Randy Leininger, on March 11, 1967. They moved to Roosevelt, Utah where she owned and managed a Circle K Convenience store for 16 years. She won "Manager of the Year" many times and was one year awarded a brand-new Chevy Camaro. In 1995, they moved to Rupert, Idaho and opened Creations Christian Bookstore in nearby Burley. Sarah greatly enjoyed her ministry there for 10 years and cherished the friendships she had made while living in Idaho. In 2004, she and Randy moved to Siloam Springs, Arkansas where they both became employed at Dayspring. Sarah worked in the customer service department until she retired in 2015. She and her family were always so grateful for the kindness shown by all of the people of Dayspring and many family and friends during her cancer battle. Sarah loved spending time with friends and family. Most important to her was praying for them, as she spent every morning in her sunroom, with pen and journal in hand. She loved flowers, especially purple hydrangeas and roses. She also adored reading a good Christian book and she and Randy read different versions of the Bible every year for about the past 20 years. Her greatest desire was to see God glorified in her life. Sarah is survived by her beloved husband of over 51 years, Randy; son, Keith Leininger; daughter, Rita Leininger; sister, Cathy (Jeff) Kulland; four grandchildren, Aaron, Jadon, Akeisha, Aloni; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Richard Boeckholt; sister Cindy Boeckholt and nephew Jacob Kulland. Sarah will be remembered as an amazing, godly woman whose strong faith inspired so many family and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Fellowship Bible Church, 2000 W Emma Ave. in Springdale, Arkansas with Pastor Brad Arnold officiating. The family will greet friends one hour before and a luncheon at the church will immediately follow the service. The Leininger family would like to extend our gratitude to all the staff at the Circle of Life Hospice for their attentiveness and loving care. Arrangements with Heritage Funeral Home, online obituary and guestbook at www.heritageofnwa.com.
