Paul David Freshwater

Paul David Freshwater, 82, of Springdale, went to be with the Lord September 30, 2018. He was born February 26, 1936 in Wellsburg, West Virginia, the son of the late Paul O. and Elizabeth Fortiner Freshwater. He was a member of the Elm Springs United Methodist Church and had served in the United States Air Force. Paul had retired from New Holland Farm Equipment as a salesman in 1997 and was owner/operator of Freshwater's Ford where he restored and sold antique cars and parts. Antique ford cars were his passion and he loved to visit with people, always telling them jokes. Paul is survived by his children, David Eric Freshwater of Rogers, Arkansas, Laura Lee Holman of Davis, Oklahoma; sister, Lois Gilbride of Athens, Georgia; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. And a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, October 4, 2018 at the Elm Springs United Methodist Church, 118 N. Elm Street, Elm Springs, Arkansas 72728 with Pastor Jonathan Griesse officiating, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762. Burial will follow in Elm Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 1 p.m. until service time.
