Joy Carol (Wilkins) Wright

Joy Carol (Wilkins) Wright, age 73, a resident of Bethel Heights, Arkansas passed from this life and made her entrance into heaven on May 4, 2018. We have no doubt she made a "grand entrance" as she was greeted by her parents, Kenneth and Patti Wilkins; her infant daughter, Mindi Wright; her brothers, Jim Wilkins and John Wilkins; and her brother-in-law, David Fulfer. Joy was a unique, flamboyant, free spirit. She loved celebrations—she didn't need a national holiday, she would create one. Joy was passionate about her work as a child advocate with CASA. She attended New Hope Fellowship where she enjoyed the Ladies Bible Study and working at House of Hope Mission. Joy had an uncommon love for animals—and she fed them all—birds, squirrels, dogs and stray cats. But her special love was her devoted dog, Cocoa. Joy's family is left to laugh, cry and reflect on her zany antics: her sons, Chip Wright and his wife, LaVonda, and Derek Wright and his wife, Jessica; her grandsons, Hunter and Hayden Wright; her granddaughter, Khloe Wright; her sister, Jeanne Fulfer; and nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. A "Joyful" Celebration of Life will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Westfield Chapel, Springdale, Arkansas. Share your amusing stories and special memories of Joy on her memorial page at www.WestfieldChapel.com.
