Argie Lon Miller

Argie Lon Miller, 75 years old, passed away on March 2, 2018, at the Veterans Hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas. His family was at his side. He was born on September 1, 1942, in Rudd, Arkansas, to Loyd and Sarah (Chaney) Miller. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Carroll C. Miller. Argie served his country by enlisting in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Afterwards, he returned to his home town of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, where he was employed by the US Postal Service for over 30 years. In later years, Argie looked forward to drinking coffee and conversing with his friends at the Easy Mart. Argie's love for cats was prominent throughout his life; he was quite passionate about the care of his cats. Argie will always be remembered as a gentle, kind, and loving soul. Argie was a dedicated man to his family. Survivors include his loving wife, Jeri Lynn Miller. His beloved children; daughter, Misty Miller and Son, Bryan P. Miller, grandchildren; Bryan C. Miller, Cory Lee Davidson, Sebastian P. Miller, Justin Shane Davidson, Calvin A. Miller (Josie), and Karley Lynn Millsap, great-grandchild; Ezra A. Miller. Argie's sister, Charlotte Nyberg (Emil), sister-in-law, Mary Lee Miller (Carroll), several nieces and nephews, as well as a host of friends. A memorial service will be held at the Fayetteville National Cemetery, on Monday, March 12, 2018, at 10 a.m. Donations may be made to the Humane Society in honor of Argie L. Miller. The family wants to extend their appreciation and thankfulness for the loving compassionate care that Argie received at the VA Hospital (Heroes' Haven).
