Tommy Joe Greeson

Tommy Joe Greeson, "Tom", passed away suddenly on Thursday May 31, 2018 at the age of 77 at his home in Bentonville, Ark. He was the son of the late Emerson Wayne Greeson and Ethel (Duncan) Greeson. Tom was the youngest of three children. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelors Degree in Business, and a Masters Degree in Finance. Several years later, he decided to take and passed the CPA Exam. Tom spent his working career in Administration at the University of Kansas as well as a Finance Executive in Health Care. He married Janice Baker April 24, 1961 in Marshall, Texas. They were married for 57 years, and had one daughter, Angela. After living in Kansas for 28 years, and Las Vegas for 16 years, they retired to Bentonville, Ark. to be closer to their family. Tom was an avid fan of Oklahoma football and Kansas basketball. He and his wife loved spending time with family, and friends playing dominoes, going to Branson and getting together to eat. Tom was very proud of his home and spent many hours meticulously grooming the yard. Tom and Jan were both active members of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Bella Vista. Tom served as an usher and was a Fourth Degree of the Knights of Columbus. Tom is survived by his wife, Jan, his daughter Angela Arnold (Craig), his sister Nancy Wright (Millard) and two grandchildren, Benjamin and Molly Ann. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, John Lee.
