Pamela Ann Sherwood

Pamela Ann Sherwood, age 75, of Rogers, Arkansas passed from this life surrounded by her loving family to be with God on July 4, 2018 at Washington Regional in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born on February 15, 1943 in Kansas City, Missouri to Roy and Bettie (McNamara) Plummer. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Darrel F. Sherwood, her sons Darren and D.F. Sherwood, and her brother, Pete Plummer. Pam passionately enjoyed acting and dancing, and was active in school theater and the Rogers Little Theater for several years. She deeply loved time spent with her husband, children, family, and friends at the lake, about town, and at home. She cherished conversations with lifelong friends from her school days in Stroud, Oklahoma, Webb City, Missouri, and Joplin Community College. Her work and time spent with colleagues and friends during her days working at Daisy Manufacturing and Arvest Bank brought her much joy. Pam enjoyed the simple pleasures in life sharing laughter and love with her family, friends, community, and her beloved cat Pywackette. She was known for her sassy, generous sense of humor, and her optimistic, loving, and kind spirit. Pam espoused that even the smallest acts of kindness shown everyday can change the world for the better. Her personal mantra was: "Share a smile with someone today. It will make you both feel better." Pam lived to inspire, support, and love others in a way that could help them find their genuine selves, compassion for others, true fulfillment, and the silver lining in any adversity they faced. Pam's favorite poem below embodies her eternal optimism and belief that all aspects of life are necessary to fully appreciate the miracle of life through love, gratitude, and acceptance of all its cycles. I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright. I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more. I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive. I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger. I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting. I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess. I wish you enough "Hello's" to get you through the final "Goodbye." I wish you enough. Pam is lovingly remembered by her daughter and son-in-law Candy and Mike Waggoner, her daughter Kimberly Sherwood, her daughter Charity Sherwood, her granddaughters Wendy Murillo, Grace Jackson, and Kendra Conner, her great grandchildren, Aden and Audie Murillo, her sister and brother-in-law Monte and Chris Lundien, her brother and sister-in-law Brad and Colleen Plummer, her sister-in-law Suzanne Jameson, her nieces Tiffany Plummer Heck, Miranda Lundien, Jordan Plummer, and Cameron Plummer, and her nephews R.a.
