Charles Edward Price

Charles Edward Price, age 89, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas peacefully departed this world on July 3, 2018. He left behind family and many friends who will miss him greatly. Charles was born in Sallisaw, OK on January 12, 1929. Charlie had many loves in his life. First and foremost was his wife, Francis who preceded him in death. Second was his love of teaching. He and Francis taught till they retired in elementary schools in Arizona. He really enjoyed teaching the mysteries of science to his students but he also helped guide many of his students in life. Several of these students have kept in touch over the years with him to show their appreciation of his influence on their lives. His next great love was of the great outdoors. He was a hunter and avid fisherman. He always fished to "catch and eat" not to catch and release. He continued fishing up until just a few years ago. His final love was making jewelry. He and Francis both would make the Southwest style of silver and turquoise which they sold over the summer all over the Southwest. As much as he loved making the jewelry he also loved giving it away to family and friends. Many have the privilege of having a "Charles Price" original. Finally Charles will not only be missed for his sense of humor and gift of pranking but for his very large heart and generous soul. He always enjoyed sharing and caring for his family and friends. We wish to thank Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab as well as Hospice of North Arkansas for all the care and love they showed Charles. Per Charles request there will not be a service held.
