Barbara Carole Lucas

Barbara Carole Laing Lucas, age 76, passed from this earth into heaven on Jan. 24, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jessee and her son David Lucas. Barbara and Jessee Lucas were business owners in Little Rock for years prior to retiring. After retirement Barbara continued to work part-time for the Little Rock Police Department and H & R Block, during tax season. Barbara is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Jack and Cathe Laing of Louisville, Ky and her son and daughter-in-law Jay Lucas and Pam Prince of Little Rock. Barbara was lovingly known as Nanny to her four grandchildren whom she adored and they adored her - Lindsey Alvarez and husband Alex, Kelsey Roemer and husband Casey, Jeremy Lucas and Zach Lucas. Nanny also was blessed with six great-grandchildren - Alissa, Evan and Corbin Alvarez, Maddox and Carsyn Roemer and Oliver Lucas. They were the light of her life and her Legacy. A private memorial service for immediate family to be held at a later time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.
