Sue Collette Stewart, 76, passed away Jan. 20, 2018, at her home in Springdale. She was born May 29, 1941, in Los Angeles, Calif., to William and Mary McCollum Mask. Collette loved to paint pictures, winning numerous awards at Fairs and arts and crafts shows, but her true passion was horse training. She was the youngest licensed horse trainer in California. She trained Joe Sherry, a world champion racehorse. After her horse training career, she and her husband ran a family farm. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Donald E. Stewart of 53 years. Survivors include her two sons; Lance Stewart and wife Melissa of Tontitown; Shannon Stewart of Springdale, four grandchildren; Logan Stewart of Centerton; Ashley and husband Chris Reeves of Prairie Grove; Cole Stewart and wife Kaylee of Springdale; Kristen Stewart of Tontitown; four great-grandchildren; Aedan, Elyjah, Bowen and Benjamin; one brother, Ace Mask & wife Donna of Brea, Calif.; three sisters; Faye Lang and husband Bob of Fallon, Nev.; Mary Hershberger and husband George of Blackfoot, Idaho; Travis Fuentz and husband Danny of Atwater, Calif.
