Eunice Ileen Albers

Eunice I. Albers of Bella Vista, Ark., passed away Jan. 19, 2018. She was born in Muskegon, Mich., on July 6, 1927, to Aaron and Nina Lovejoy Ryefield. She attended schools in Muskegon -- including Muskegon High School and Muskegon School of Business. She met and married Keith Dean Albers on Feb. 21, 1953, in Washington, D.C. – after a two-week courtship that lasted 60 years. She will be joining him at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington D.C. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her brother, Lawrence A. Ryefield and four sisters: Joyce C. Alfultis, Ardath L. Jensen, Betty J. DeBoer and Esther E. Wheeley. She is survived by her little dog, Buddy, her two daughters: Kathy (Chris) Coffman and Karen (Gary) Cornelius as well as four grandchildren: Mynette Carlson, Tiffany (Louis) Marascio, Steven (Kristen) Coffman and Misty Cornelius. She also has five great-grandchildren: Austin Carlson; Ellington, Evalyn and Emmeline Marascio; Cora Coffman. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Jeanne Ryefield Ritter, She will be missed by many very special friends and nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Eunice will be held Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018, at 10 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Bella Vista, 20 Boyce Drive, Bella Vista, Ark., 72715.
