Robert Louis Jines

Robert Louis Jines, 69, of, Pea Ridge, died February 20 at his home. He was born July 15, 1948 in Fayetteville to Robert Earle Jines and Billie Allen Jines. He graduated from Springdale High School in 1966, then attended the University of Arkansas and graduated from SW Baptist in Bolivar, Missouri. He married Carolyn Faye Werremeyer February 17, 1968 and served the US Army overseas in Vietnam in 1969. He taught elementary school in Monett, Mo. for several years and worked for American National Ins in Pea Ridge. He worked for Wal-Mart General Offices and was in manager training for the Cassville, Missouri Wal-Mart and an assistant manager for the McAlester, Oklahoma Wal-Mart store. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and driving his Ford Mustangs. Robert served as a deacon at First Baptist Church in Viburnum, Missouri and was a member of The Ridge Church in Pea Ridge. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors are his wife, Carolyn of the home; a son, Michael Jines of Mt. Hood, Oregon; two daughters, Cathy Yockey and husband Eddie of Pea Ridge, Stacy Luper and husband Lonnie of Fayetteville; a brother, Matt Jines and wife Debbie of Shell Knob, Missouri; a sister, Margaret Cheek and husband Jim of Pea Ridge; a grandson, Zach Coor of Fayetteville and five granddaughters, Mie Bach-Pederson of Denmark, Katharina Koster of Germany, Alessia Julmy of Switzerland, Oline Brekke of Norway, Benedetta Pigiani of Italy. A graveside service is set for 2 p.m., Monday, February 26 at Fayetteville National Cemetery. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Visitation is set for 2-4 p.m. Sunday, February 25 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be be made to Bright Futures of Pea Ridge in c/o of Sisco Funeral Home, P.O.
