Carmen Castorena

Carmen Castorena, age 25, of Bentonville, Arkansas, formerly of Searcy, died Saturday, February 10, 2018, in Conway, Arkansas. She was born October 19, 1992, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico to Edgar Eduardo Castorena and Dolores Reyna Vega. Carmen was a member of St. James Catholic Church, a graduate of the University of the Ozarks, and worked as a sales associate for Crystal Bridges Museum. She is survived by her mother, Lola Reyna of Searcy; one brother, Edgar Castorena of Searcy; sister, Fenny Castorena of Searcy; grandparents, Guadalupe Gutierrez of Guadalajara, Ernesto Reyna of Guadalajara; Lucia Margarita Vega of Guadalajara; and one uncle, Oscar Reyna. She is preceded in death by Valente Castorena, grandfather. Visitation is Thursday starting at 6 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home.
