He passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Anthony Moten, lovingly known to his friends and family as "Tony", lived a rich and fulfilling life. Standing over six feet tall with a seemingly unmatched strength, Tony was a mountain of a man with the personality of a gentle giant. Despite his stature Tony's strength and size were outweighed only by his kindness, capacity for love and infectious smile. Tony was well known among his peers and was recognized for several awards. He later directed his attention and strengths from athletics to family when he married the love of his life Donna Goodnight. Tony and Donna were married September 12th, 1981, shortly followed by the birth of their two daughters, Rachael and Kirby. He was a devoted and loving husband and father. For nearly 30 years, Tony provided for his family while working for Door Tech and Quality Glass, as a Door Technician and Glazier. Throughout those years Tony established many close friends that he considered family. As life progressed Tony found joy and relaxation as a fisherman. Alongside his lifelong friends, Tony could be found fishing at every opportunity, participating and winning in many tournaments. Tony's strength of mind, body and heart will forever live in the memories of all who have met him, and especially those who knew him as family, a loving husband, father and friend.
